Our stick isn't even shooting the same way!! Get lost, Ted Leonsis !! Spend more time trying to get Ovechkin to score and LESS time harrassing the Lethbridge Hurricanes. We are already in debt, we sure don't have any ROYALTY money for YOU!
So, I guess there are no similarities between other WHL team logos with NHL teams?
Funny! I could almost SWEAR that I have seen a logo resembling the Portland Winterhawks somewhere before... WHERE was it I wonder... I will have to ask Kris Versteeg... Maybe he knows....

I don't think it was an actual "Cease and Desist" legal order, but IF it is true that the Washington Capitals are concerned enough to have contacted the Hurricanes "requesting" them to use a different logo, that is pretty sad. I like the Hurricane plane logo, if it is all or nothing, they should use it. If they are going to make a new logo, I hope they incorporate a reference to the high level bridge in it, maybe even a (cane) train?
